Calling all entrepreneurs.
The next cohort of Starter Company Plus Program, a free program for new business owners that offers training, guidance on creating a business plan and mentorship, starts in May.
If you’re interested in applying to take part, you have to attend an online information session, with two being held, one on April 2 and the other on April 8.
Small Business Development Officer Carol Hardy tells Moose FM that they have had a number of successful business owners take part in the program in the past.
“It’s just been really amazing to see the transformation that happens in them going through this program, really digging deep into creating a business plan and understanding all the different aspects of their business and the industry.”
Hardy adds that there is a $5,000 grant attached to the program for successful applicants.
