Police: One person killed in collision in Iroquois

An investigation is underway into a single-vehicle collision in Iroquois that left one person dead.

Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police say a vehicle was traveling westbound on County Road 2 in South Dundas Township around 10:45 Friday night.

Police say the vehicle left the road as it was going through a roundabout and it struck several objects before it came to a stop.

First responders attempted to save a 43-year-old woman from Montreal but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
