A couple of North Grenville residents are being praised after police say they came to the aid of someone in need.
Grenville County OPP say officers and the Mobile Crisis Response Team responded to a call on Thursday for a well-being check on a resident who could not be located and was last seen struggling to remove snow in their driveway.
A post on social media was made by a passerby asking for public assistance with the snow while police searched.
Police say the resident was found by officers in good health, and upon return, they found the property being cleared by neighbours who saw the social media post.Â
You’re reminded that it’s never a bad idea to check on your neighbours and ask if help is needed, especially after significant weather events.
