An investigation into multiple threats of violence made against a Kemptville school has resulted in the arrest of a second teenager.
Grenville County OPP say the anonymous telephone threats made against St. Michael Catholic High School began last Sept. 12, continuing to Oct. 18.
A 14-year-old male from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, was arrested and charged last October following a multi-jurisdictional investigation into the threats and similar ones made against other schools, including in the U.S.
Police announced on Tuesday that a search warrant was executed at a home in South Dundas Township and a 14-year-old male was charged with offences including three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and three counts of indecent communications.
Investigators say the charges relate to incidents in Kemptville, Iroquois and New York State.
The accused was scheduled to appear for a bail hearing in Brockville on Tuesday.
