Our local PC Party candidate says his party needs a strong, stable, four-year mandate that is going to outlive and outlast the four-year term of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Steve Clark says that’s why Ontario Premier Doug Ford called an election in an effort to protect Ontario from Trump and job losses as well as threats like high tariffs.
Clark has held the provincial seat in the Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes riding since 2010 and it’s been represented by the PC’s since it was created in 1987.
As for his record, Clark tells Moose FM that he has continuously put the area first.
“I delivered on a CT Scan at the hospital, I delivered on the hospice beds for Beth Donovan, the big County Road 43 project early on in our mandate in 2018 I delivered that project too and it was the largest project in Ontario.”
Clark is being opposed by NDP candidate Christopher Wilson, Liberal Party candidate Lorna Jean Edmonds and Green Party candidate Fiona Jager.
Voters will head to the polls on Thursday, Feb. 27.
Moose FM will have extensive coverage of the election, and interviews with each of the candidates, during the campaign.
