Police: Two young people identified in connection to bomb threat made at Prescott school

Police say two young people have been identified and located after a bomb threat was made at an elementary school in Prescott.

Grenville County OPP say they received information before classes started on Monday that a threatening message had been left on the voicemail at the school, identified as St. Mark Catholic School.

The school was evacuated as a precaution and temporarily closed for the initial investigation.

The Grenville County OPP Crime Unit and front-line officers say they were able to identify two young people responsible for the message.

The youths, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were dealt with utilizing community support programs.
