It will soon be one-stop shopping for seniors aged 80 and up to renew their licenses

It will soon be more convenient for drivers aged 80 and over to renew their licenes.

Beginning Feb. 1, local seniors in the age group will be able to complete their mandatory vision and cognitive screening assessments, and renew their licences, during a single visit to the Brockville and Kemptville ServiceOntario locations.

By the end of the spring, the service will be available at all ServiceOntario locations across the province.

Once the change is in place, seniors will be sent a renewal notice by mail approximately 90 days before their licence expires, with instructions to book an appointment online or by phone.
