Police say a traffic stop on Highway 401 near Prescott resulted in two stolen vehicles being found.
A Ministry of Transport officer stopped a tractor trailer on the highway, near the Highway 416 interchange, on Friday afternoon.
Grenville County OPP say they were then called in after two vehicles were located in the sea container on the truck’s trailer.
It was confirmed that the Toyota Highlander and Dodge Ram in the container had been stolen from the Toronto and Peterborough areas.

Officers also seized a quantity of suspected meth.
The truck driver was arrested at the scene and has been charged with offences including possession of stolen property.
