Police looking for owners of items recovered in theft investigation in eastern Ontario

Police are looking to give victims back their stolen property after a theft investigation in the region.

The Ontario Provincial Police East Region Street Crime Unit says they recently arrested two people and recovered around $100,000 worth of stolen property.

On Tuesday, police say they executed a search warrant at a residence in Cornwall with the stolen items found and the two suspects arrested and each charged with a long list of offences.

Investigators have not been able to locate the rightful owners of items including a King Canada Generator a Porter Cable air compressor  and a York air conditioner.

If these belong to you, you are asked to call Russell County OPP.
