Immunization records for more than 3,000 local students are incomplete or completely missing.
That’s according to the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, which says the students, born in 2008, 2017 and 2020, could face suspension.
The health unit says suspension orders will soon be issued to each student who has not submitted their up-to-date records with the suspension period lasting up to 20 school days, starting on the date stated in the notice.
Officials say the good news is there are several ways to have the suspension order rescinded.
