Make it three wins in four games for the Kemptville 73’s in 2025.
It came down to a 21 round shootout but Kemptville was able to beat the Navan Grads 6-5 on the road on Sunday afternoon.
Defenceman Eric Sweetapple scored the winner in the marathon session, with goaltender Trenten Bennett, in his first game played since returning from the Ontario Hockey League, stopped all but one of the shooters.
The win followed a 4-2 loss at home on Friday to the Pembroke Lumber Kings.
