Update: UCDSB provides more details on ongoing cyber incident impacting schools

There is an update on the ongoing cyber incident impacting the Upper Canada District School Board.

Officials posted more information online Wednesday, saying that they are still experiencing disruptions to services across all schools.

They add that they are working around the clock to safely restore access and assess the impact of the cyber incident and the disruptions, technological in nature, do not pose any risk to student safety.

Schools will remain open and are operating in a non-digital environment.

My Family Room is among the services that continue to be offline and, if your child is going to be away, you are asked to call the school so they know your child is safe. Attendance is being taken manually and if students are not present, the school will call the parent or guardian on file.

You can go into your local school in person if you are attempting to register your child for school.

More details are expected to be released as more is known.
