An upcoming public open house and a public meeting in Spencerville will both focus on a proposed zoning by-law changes to domestic fowl coop regulations.
The open house is scheduled for Jan. 28 and the public meeting for Feb. 3, with both addressing the proposed changes that would expand permission for coops in settlement areas and update rules to protect water sources, lot lines, and neighboring properties.
The changes also involve a potential permitting system for domestic fowl coops.
