The 2025 World Junior Hockey Championship is officially underway in Ottawa.
With many hockey fans being left tickets by Santa under the tree, the International Ice Hockey Federation event began Boxing Day.
Lots of eyes will be on the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata where Canada will begin the tournament on Thursday evening against Finland.
Canada, Sweden and last year’s winner, the United States, are among the favorites to bring home gold.
