We will soon know the winner of the Tri-Municipal Food Drive Challenge.
The South Grenville Food Bank is holding an open house at its Prescott location from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday where the winner of the contest will be declared.
Prescott, Augusta and Edwardsburgh-Cardinal are all competing to see which municipality can collect the most donations for the food bank.
South Grenville Food Bank Executive Director Bonnie Pidgeon says the winner will take home some hardware.
“They actually have a cup that I engrave with the amount that they have raised and they get to keep the cup in their township for bragging rights for the entire year of 2025.”
Meanwhile, donations are being accepted to help ensure everyone has food on the table and a festive holiday season.
