Police: Pedestrian suffers non-life threatening injuries in collision in Johnstown

A pedestrian is recovering from non-life threatening injuries after a collision involving a vehicle in Johnstown.

Grenville County OPP tell the MyKemptvilleNow.com newsroom that the collision happened just before 7 a.m. Wednesday near the Port of Johnstown when a vehicle hit a pedestrian.

Police say the driver was very cooperative and called police to report what had happened.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment and investigation is ongoing, with the road since reopened.

Investigators are asking for anyone with information or dash-cam video of the collision to call them.
