You might want to throw another log onto the fire over the next few days with temperatures expected to drop.
Environment Canada is calling for daytime highs from Friday into Monday that will only be around where nighttime lows are for this time of the year.
The weather agency says a change in airmass will also make it feel like a low of -20 over the weekend.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Steven Flisfeder says, when it’s all said and done, it will feel even colder.

“When you factor in winds it’s going to be feeling more like minus twenty-five to minus-thirty so extremely cold conditions through the weekend and into Monday morning as well.”
Flisfeder adds that it should warm up next week with more seasonal temperatures expected.
