73’s Wrap: Kemptville earns three points in home-and-home with Cornwall

The Kemptville 73’s are putting the work in to make sure they end up on Santa’s nice list heading into the holiday break.

Kemptville earned three out of four points in a home-and-home with the Cornwall Colts last week, with the second half ending up as a 4-0 win at the North Grenville Municipal Centre on Friday night.

Goaltender Rylan Donovan stopped all 36 shots he faced for his first shutout in the Central Canada Hockey League.

Kemptville has three games left before the league’s holiday break that runs from December 23 to January 5, starting off on Wednesday night when Nepean visits.

The 73’s remain in second place in the CCHL’s Robinson Division.
