It’s an Old Town Christmas in Kemptville this weekend

An Old Town Christmas is being celebrated in Kemptville.

Scheduled for this Saturday, the festivities are being put on by The Old Town Kemptville Business Improvement Area and begin with a “Breakfast with Santa” at the Kemptville Legion at 9 a.m.

There will then be numerous other events taking place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. including horse-drawn wagon rides, a Christmas dance party at Rotary Park, live music at different businesses and photo opportunities with everyone from The Grinch to Spider-Man.

There will also be a chance to write Santa a letter at the To Be Continued Consignment Shop as well as contests.

Old Town Kemptville BIA Chair Shelley Mitchell says you’ll want to make sure you visit as many businesses as possible.

“Be watchful in the windows of certain businesses where there will be an option for a selfoe with an Elfie.”

More details on the day’s festivities can be found on the BIA’s website.
