Three people face charges after police say they seized a loaded firearm during a RIDE checkpoint in South Dundas Township.
Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police say they stopped a vehicle on County Road Two around 1:30 a.m. last Thursday.
A 26-year-old from Cornwall and a 26-year-old and 25-year-old, both from Akwesasne Mohawk Territory, were arrested and charged with offenses including unauthorized possession of a firearm.
All three are scheduled to appear in court in Cornwall in February.
