There’s a new President and Chief Executive Officer at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
Dr. Vera Etches, the Medical Officer of Health for Ottawa Public Health, has been appointed to the roles.
She will begin her new jobs in early March, replacing the outgoing Alex Munter, who is leaving after thirteen years to become the chief of the Canadian Medical Association.
Etches has been the head of OPH since 2018.
