Owen Redmond’s first two goals of the 2024-2025 regular season have the Kemptville 73’s on a roll heading into the weekend.
Redmond’s two markers, including one while the team was shorthanded, and singles from Aidan Stubbings and Santino Canevari, helped the 73’s defeat the Ottawa Junior Senators 4-3 at home on Wednesday night.
Goaltender Rylan Donovan made 37 saves in net for the win.
The victory moves Kemptville back into second place in the Central Canada Hockey League’s Robinson Division.
Kemptville returns to action at home against the Navan Grads on Friday night and they then travel to Renfrew for a game Saturday evening.
