The 97.5 Moose FM Radiothon for the Salvation Army is this Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We will be broadcasting live from the Salvation Army Thrift Shoppe on Sanders Street in Kemptville.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for those less fortunate as well as monetary donations to help ensure everyone has a bright holiday season.
Charly Stewart with the Salvation Army Kemptville says they are looking for donations of a few key items in particular.
“Chunky soup and stews, those are the things where somebody who only has a small cooking surface can open a can, dump it in and have a meal.”
You’re invited to come down, make your donation in person during the radiothon, and meet the team from 97.5 Moose FM.
