Be sure to bring your enthusiasm and appetite for Christmas in Merrickville on Saturday.
You can start the day with breakfast with Santa and follow that up with the Merrickville Cookie Walk, a fundraiser for the local day nursery school.
There is horse drawn wagon rides and an artisan market running most of the day.
Not to be missed are two big ticket items: the Santa Claus parade from 11 a.m. until noon and the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m., which finishes up the day’s events.
