73s Wrap: Two two-goal games put 73’s over Ottawa Junior Senators

Two two-goal games from two different players have the Kemptville 73’s on a two-game winning streak.

Carter Graves and Nicholas Bennett both had a pair, with Bennett getting his team leading 12th of the season, to help Kemptville win 4-2 on the road against the Ottawa Junior Senators on Wednesday night.

Goaltender Trenten Bennett stopped 27 of 30 shots faced for the victory.

The win keeps Kemptville in second place in the Central Canada Hockey League’s Robinson Division with 27 points, two back of the Carleton Place Canadians.

Kemptville has a busy weekend ahead, playing in Hawkesbury on Friday night and then travelling to Rockland on Saturday evening.
