It took until the last minute of the third period but the Kemptville 73s were able to claim a big win over the Smiths Falls Bears.
In a game that saw them trail four times, a goal from forward Nicholas Bennett put the 73s 5-4 over Smiths Falls on Sunday afternoon.
The victory keeps Kemptville in second place in the Robinson Division of the Central Canada Hockey League with 25 points, now three points up on Smiths Falls.
It also helps Kemptville move on from a 4-1 loss to the Pembroke Lumber Kings on Friday night.
It sets up a big week for the 73s who play the Ottawa Junior Senators on the road on Wednesday night and who are then in Hawkesbury on Friday night and Rockland on Saturday evening.
