Santa Claus is set to light up the night in Prescott.
The Prescott Fire Department will be hosting the 2024 Light Up the Night Parade on Friday night starting at 7 p.m.
It starts at South Grenville District High School and runs south along Edward Street /west along King Street and finishes up at St. Lawrence Street.
Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar says holding the parade in the evening adds to its magic.

“The nighttime parades are the best, with all of the lights, and people really decorate their floats and really decorate their trucks.”
Santa is rumored to be visiting the town during the parade, checking in on things ahead of his trip on Christmas Eve.
