Telling stories with a “local flavor.”
That’s what St.Lawrence Shakespeare Festival Co-Artistic Director James Wallace says was behind the decision on what shows to include for their 2025 season.
The festival announced the lineup late last week for next summer and it includes “Much Ado About Nothing”, “Sherlock Holmes and the Vanishing Hour” and “Play On! A Shakespeare Inspired Mixtape”.
Wallace says they are trying to build on the success he and Co-Artistic Director, and wife, Julia Nish-Lapidus, saw last summer, their first at the helm.
“The audience are amazing and they are incredibly dedicated, incredibly motivated to see the work, we were very happy about that, we were extremely, extremely humbled by that.”
