73s Wrap: Kemptville looking to move on from tough weekend

The Kemptville 73s are looking to rebound from a tough weekend that saw them come away with a single point in two games.

They were in Brockville on Friday night where defenceman Roarke Gilmour continued his torrid pace with two goals to make it five markers in three games.

It would not be enough though, with Brockville scoring in overtime to win 4-3.

Sunday night, Kemptville was in Pembroke where the Lumber Kings scored with under a minute remaining in the third period to claim a 2-1 victory.

Kemptville returns to action on Wednesday night when they will play their third game in a row away from the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

They visit the Nepean Raiders for a 7:30 p.m. opening faceoff.

On Friday night, Kemptville is in Smiths Falls to play the Bears at 7:30 p.m., wrapping up four games in a row away from home.

Kemptville currently sits third overall in the Robinson Division of the Central Canada Hockey League with 19 points.

You can hear every Kemptville 73s hockey game, home and away, this season on the Kemptville 73s Radio Network and 97.5 Moose FM with the Voice of the Kemptville 73s, Casey Kenny.
