Kemptville 73s top team in their division following the Thanksgiving long weekend

The Kemptville 73s have a lot to be thankful for after they earned three out of a possible four points over the long weekend.

It started on Friday night when Kemptville earned a point in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Cornwall Colts at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

Kemptville followed that up with a 3-2 win over the Smiths Falls Bears on Sunday afternoon at home.

With the three points, Kemptville now sits first in the Robinson Division of the Central Canada Hockey League.

The team has a busy stretch this week of three games in four days, starting on the road in Cornwall on Thursday night at 7:30.

They are then home to the Carleton Place Canadians on Friday night at 7:30 and they close out the weekend with a Sunday afternoon trip to Rockland for a 2:30 p.m. start.

You can hear every Kemptville game live this season with the Voice of the 73s, Casey Kenny, on 97.5 Moose FM.
