A 21-year-old man is dead after a watercraft collision just west of the Thousand Islands Bridge.
First responders were called out to the area, between the mainland and Hill Island, just before 6 a.m. Sunday.
They reported finding the driver of the watercraft without vital signs and say he was brought to the shore where he was pronounced dead.
Officials say it is believed the watercraft, which had two people onboard, collided with an obstacle overnight with the passenger able to swim to shore and call for help.
The name of the victim will not be released.
Anyone with information on what happened is asked to call Leeds County OPP.
