An ongoing threat investigation has prompted the closure of a Kemptville school for a third day.
In a letter to parents, officials with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario say St.Michael Catholic High School will be closed Monday, after previously being closed last Thursday and Friday.
The school was also locked down on September 13 after a threatening message was received.
School officials say their latest decision was made after consultations with the Ontario Provincial Police, the Ministry of Education and threat assessment professionals.
Officials say a full evaluation of threats to the school has not been completed and they are hoping to gather additional information that will help provide an update on Monday.
Remote learning is available for students with more information to be released.
