The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is being marked in North Grenville.
The North Grenville Indigenous Advisory Circle is holding a ceremony on Saturday to commemorate the day.
It’s being held in the Arboretum at the new Indigenous Forest Space in the Ferguson Forrest.
Organizers say there will be remarks from Indigenous community members, music, artwork, and food.
They say it’s a chance for everyone to join together to acknowledge the truths of our shared history and embrace the opportunity for healing.
The event begins at noon and all are welcome.
