You wouldn’t be wrong if you feel like you’ve traveled back in time in Prescott this weekend.
St. John’s Anglican Church is planning a Medieval Faire for Saturday complete with a knight demonstration by Ottawa’s South Tower Armouring Guild which will include swordplay.
There will also be an artisan alley, games for both children and adults, a barbecue and an English tea.
Team Leader Sharon Stein says the faire is a fundraising event for the church.
“Our church is 200 year’s old, we had our 200th year in 2021, and it’s an old building, it needs repairs and we all work very hard to do that.”
The faire runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
