Update: Police arrest federal offender in Ottawa

Police say Matthew Mutter has been located and arrested in Ottawa.

They are thanking the public for their help in the investigation.

Police are searching for a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad says 31-year-old Matthew Mutter breached his statutory release and he’s known to frequent areas including North Grenville and Brockville.

He’s described as a white male, 6’1″, 170lbs with brown hair, blue eyes and several tattoos.

Mutter is serving a 3-year, 6-month sentence for offences including robbery and assault.

Anyone who knows where is is is asked to call police.
