Parking on municipal roads in the winter could be allowed if new bylaw passes

You could soon be able to park your vehicle more often on municipal roads in North Grenville in the winter if a new bylaw passes.

At their regular meeting on Wednesday night, council will vote on adopting a new bylaw for parking that would include it being allowed on municipal roads over the winter.

The only time you’d have to find parking elsewhere would be if an Overnight Winter Storm Event was declared by the municipality.

The new bylaw also includes provisions for the enforcement of electric vehicle parking
spaces.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the North Grenville Municipal Centre and is open to the public.

It can also be viewed online.
