A change is coming at the top of the Brockville General Hospital.
In a media release, hospital President and CEO Nick Vlacholias says he’s leaving the roles after seven years to take similar roles at the London Health Sciences Centre, one of the largest teaching hospitals in Ontario.
The release notes that under Nick’s leadership, Brockville General has seen remarkable progress to become one of the best and safest hospitals in Ontario.
They point to accomplishments during his tenure including new buildings and expanded services, dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and the rebranding of their brand and image.
The Board of Directors will be meeting over the next couple of weeks and working with Vlacholias to establish a transition plan for his departure in November.
