The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command Charitable Foundation recently gave just over $7,000 to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation for a slit-lamp device in the hospital Emergency Department. This specialized piece of equipment is used to diagnose eye conditions. It is one of the key diagnostic tools used by staff working in the ER. The charity has now given over $24,000 to the WDMH Foundation to support the purchase of specialized medical equipment.
