A 47-year-old Prescott woman is facing charges of impaired driving. Just before 2am on Saturday, March 29th, Grenville County OPP were called about a woman in a brown 2000 Chevy Cavalier in Prescott. She was driving on George Street without taillights or headlights. Police caught up with the woman on King Street, where she was showing obvious signs of impairment. She was arrested and taken to Prescott detachment for breath tests. She is charged with impaired driving, exceeding blood alcohol of .08 and driving while under suspension. She appears in Brockville Court at a later date.
