A new program in Leeds and Grenville is aimed at bringing more affordable housing to the area.
The Leeds and Grenville Affordable Housing Development Lab is designed to help non-profit organizations, local municipalities, and community-minded entrepreneurs with no prior housing development experience, carry out a feasibility assessment and development plan at no cost.
Officials say that plan will help move forward on an affordable housing construction project in the region while providing long-term affordable housing to households in need.
Applications for The Lab will be open until Friday, Sept. 13.
