OPP in Leeds investigate 4 separate incidents of impaired driving over weekend

OPP from the Leeds Detachment are saying that people aren’t getting the message about impaired driving. Over the weekend 4 separate incidents ended with drivers being arrested and charged for impaired driving. Detachment Commander Inspector Jeff Smith says “despite all of the awareness surrounding impaired driving, we continue to see some drivers making poor choices”. Officers continue R.I.D.E. checks throughout Leeds County. If you suspect an impaired driver, contact police.
