Last Friday, St. Michael advanced to the Senior Boys AA basketball EOSSAA regional championship. After a sea-saw battle the Mustangs fell to the Smiths Falls Redhawks 40 to 32. Jonah Holthus led the scoring with 16 points. Tom Weissflog overcame an injury to contribute 7 points while effectively guarding the Redhawks’ top player. Roark Brookson chipped in 5 points. This signals the end of a highly successful season for the Mustangs, who graduate 9 out of 12 players.
