You have a few options for beating the heat as the scorching weather continues.
In Kemptville, the North Grenville Public Library serves as a cooling centre during its regular hours and you don’t have to be a member to come in.
Service Delivery Manager Sierra Jones-Martel says they are busier at certain times of the day.
“In the mornings, and I think people we’re just trying to get things done and go back to their home, but we’ll see a pickup after lunch for sure.”
The Kemptville Pool is also now open for the season to take a dip.
The pool is open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday with public swim times starting at 7:15 p.m. On the weekend, the pool is open from 12:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service says they haven’t been called to any heat related incidents so far.
