The Village of Merrickville-Wolford is working on the way it communicates.
To that end, Mayor Michael Cameron says a new website for the village will be in place come early next month.
He says it’s something the community has wanted for around 15 years and adds it will make it easier for residents to find the information they are looking for.
Cameron says it will also be user friendly.
“It allows us to put more information on and keep it at the forefront so we’re not losing it as we add information there, we’ve been a little bit more proactive in that.”
Cameron adds the site will be around 90 per cent finished when it goes live and he expects there will be some tweaks made to it over the next year.
