The Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes Liberal Association will host “An Evening with Mary Jean McFall and guest Marc Garneau” at Maplehurst Manor, in Maitland February 25th. Marc Garneau is the Member of Parliament for Westmount-Ville-Marie and Liberal Foreign Affairs Critic. He is widely known to the Canadian public as the first Canadian astronaut to go into space. Mary Jean McFall is the nominated federal Liberal candidate for the riding of Leeds Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes. The event at Maplehurst is a fundraiser to support the upcoming election campaign. The event is from 6pm at Maplehurst Manor, 1258 Highway 2.
