Staff is now working in the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit’s new Kemptville office, but it’s not open to the public yet.
That’s according to Katie Lamb, a Multimedia Specialist with the organization.
“We have received approval for partial occupancy,” Lamb explains, “meaning that only staff are currently allowed to work in the space.”
The new office was originally meant to open to the public on November 29th, but it was delayed due to a shortage of things like new windows and doors needed to renovate the space.
“At this time, we do not have an updated estimate for when our Kemptville office will be open to clients,” Lamb adds.
In the meantime, many of the Health Unit’s in-person services are being offered at other locations in Smiths Falls and Brockville.
