The Municipality of North Grenville and its partners were recognized for their efforts in preparing the “Proposal to Establish the Kemptville Centre for Rural Advancement”. The Economic Developers Council of Ontario recognized economic development excellence at its conference and awards gala on Thursday in Hamilton. The provincial government recently announced that work will begin to implement the report’s recommendations at Kemptville Campus. The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Kemptville College Renewal Task Force, Kemptville College Foundation and McSweeney & Associates collaborated with the Municipality on the report.
