UPDATE Sunday, November 12th: In a new email to parents, Principal Kris Wiley says North Grenville District High School’s water issues have been dealt with, and the school will be open on Monday, November 13th.
Students at North Grenville District High School (NGDHS) are home for the weekend a day early.
In an email to parents, NGDHS Principal Kris Wiley says the school is closed Friday, November 10th, after a “significant water issue” that caused flooding.
“All water has been turned off at the school and we’ve had a plumber onsite to fix the issue,” Wiley’s email explains.
Wiley has apologized to parents for the inconvenience and her email says the school will update them over the weekend on whether the school will be open on Monday, November 13th.
We’ve reached out to Wiley to learn more about what happened.
