Santa Claus is coming to town next month.
Volunteers are now being recruited for the 2023 Kemptville Rotary Santa Claus Parade, and registration has been opened for floats.
The route for the parade has also been made public, with participants set to start on Van Buren Street and move along Prescott Street, Clothier Street East and Sanders Street. Staff members say volunteers will be needed to watch the barricades at every intersection along the route.
Meanwhile, participants with floats are being asked to avoid giving out items like flyers to people watching the parade, to make cleanup easier afterwards by cutting down on litter. Candy and treats are allowed as long as they’re not being thrown.
The parade is happening on November 18th, starting at 4:30 PM. You can find forms to register a float or apply to volunteer on the Municipality of North Grenville’s website.
