Reminder: nominations close for 2023 Leeds-Grenville Warden’s Award this month

Time is running out for you to nominate someone for this year’s Bill Thake Economic Development Leadership award.

Also called the Leeds-Grenville Warden’s Award, it’s presented annually to celebrate a resident’s work to expand and improve their local economy, through their businesses and volunteer work.

Nominations opened back in June, and will stay open for two more weeks, closing on Friday, September 22nd.

Officials say nominees need to live and work within one of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville’s member municipalities.

The award will be presented at this year’s Economic Development Summit, scheduled for the 17th of November.
